Job summary

Unisys is seeking a skilled Cloud Migration Engineer to lead the migration of application and database servers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will design landing-zone architectures, implement IaC, and build automated CI/CD pipelines for deployment of workloads.

You will collaborate with DBAs and development teams, containerize workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and enforce security and monitoring throughout the migration lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - compute, networking, storage, and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of application and database servers to OCI with minimal downtime.
• Design OCI landing-zone architecture including IAM, VCNs, and security.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of workloads.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for repeatable provisioning.
• Plan and execute Oracle Database migration strategies with minimal disruption.
• Containerize workloads with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes/OKE.
• Establish DevOps practices: source control, branching, and release management.
• Provide post-migration support and knowledge transfer.
