Job summary

Concept Plus LLC is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer to migrate an EBS environment from on-prem to OCI Exadata, architecting, deploying, and optimizing OCI resources for government-grade security and performance.

You will design cross-region DR, implement automated replication and failover, and ensure alignment with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 controls while coordinating with DBAs, network, and security teams.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
• 3–7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with at least 2 years focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience in government IT environments or highly regulated sectors.
• Strong understanding of NIST security controls, zero-trust principles, and cloud governance.
• Proficiency with Terraform and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (VCN, DRG, VPN, FastConnect, firewalls).
• Experience with Oracle Exadata computing system and Oracle Exadata Cloud Service.
• Familiarity with government logging/monitoring tools (Splunk/Elastic).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of an EBS environment from on-prem to OCI, including planning, deployment, data migration and cutover support.
• Assess on-prem environments and design target OCI architectures meeting performance, availability and government compliance needs.
• Configure OCI components: Compute, Block/Object Storage, VCN, Load Balancing, File Storage, databases, and identity/security services.
• Coordinate with DBAs, application and network teams to migrate tiers and integrations.
• Design, build, and validate cross-region DR for EBS using OCI services and failover strategies.
• Develop DR runbooks, test plans, and COOP validation exercises; lead DR tests.
• Ensure migration/DR activities adhere to FedRAMP, FISMA and NIST 800-53 controls; support audits.
