Job summary

PCI Federal (PCIF) is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Engineer to design, implement, migrate, and run Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for enterprise healthcare systems within the Military Health System (MHS). The role emphasizes secure, scalable OCI environments, lift‑and‑shift migrations, and hybrid cloud architectures across multiple teams including cybersecurity and applications teams.

Qualifications

8+ years in systems/cloud/infrastructure engineering
5+ years OCI experience
Experience planning enterprise cloud migrations
Experience with lift-and-shift migrations and hybrid cloud

Responsibilities

Design, implement, configure, and support OCI environments for healthcare applications
Build highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure
Lead and support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to OCI
Develop deployment templates and SOPs for OCI environments
Configure OCI networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services
Coordinate migration activities with owners, DBAs, and cybersecurity teams
Validate migrated environments with testing and performance tuning
Implement backup, DR, and business continuity solutions
Monitor utilization, optimize performance and cost
