Job summary

The Hillsboro Club in Hillsboro Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our Front Office Department at our private oceanfront property. This seasonal role supports members and guests in all front office activities with exceptional service and hospitality, drawing on several years of private club or upscale hotel reservations experience.

You will handle check-ins/outs, room assignments, and reservation processing, coordinate with housekeeping, and uphold safety and courtesy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Several years of front office, customer service experience, preferably within a private club or upscale hotel setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with reservation or booking software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Register members and guests and assign rooms; comply with special requests whenever possible.
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for registration purposes.
• Follow credit, cash, checking and cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Monitor room status information.
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping and other departments.
• Take same-day and future reservations; manage the room key system.
• Post and file charges to member and guest accounts; issue and close safe deposit boxes.
• Operate front-office equipment; read pass-on log; attend department meetings.
