• Doctoral degree in OT and licensure in Iowa or eligibility.
• Extensive leadership and program administration experience.
• ACOTE standards familiarity and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership for the Occupational Therapy program.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ACOTE standards and accreditation timelines.
• Lead program assessment, curriculum review, outcomes evaluation, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Oversee curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and inclusive program development.
• Manage program operations, budgeting, resources, facilities, and administrative processes.
• Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and retain qualified faculty and staff.
• Support student recruitment, progression, retention, advising, and success.
• Collaborate with fieldwork coordinators, clinical partners, alumni, and organizations.
• Teach in the occupational therapy curriculum as needed.
• Promote faculty and student scholarship, leadership, and engagement.
• Represent the program and university in external partnerships and activities.
