The Occupational Therapy Manager plays a vital leadership role in supporting that journey—integrating trauma-informed occupational therapy services across programs and helping survivors build the skills needed for daily living, emotional wellness, and long‑term stability.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and oversee occupational therapy services across residential, outreach, and aftercare programs
  • Maintain a client caseload focused on life skills, emotional regulation, and vocational readiness
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized, trauma‑informed care plans
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide clinical guidance to staff
  • Integrate occupational therapy principles across multidisciplinary teams
  • Support program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Coach staff in trauma‑informed practices and effective client engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to ensure coordinated care
  • Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance with standards
What You Bring
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active (or eligible) Occupational Therapy license in South Dakota
  • 1–2+ years of clinical experience
  • Experience working with trauma, mental health, or vulnerable populations strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate clinical knowledge into practical, real‑world skill development
