Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Faculty position in the Department of Occupational Therapy as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program. The start date is November 1, 2026, with work on Jefferson's Center City campus.

The successful candidate will join the Experiential Learning Team, supporting fieldwork curriculum development, student placement, and program compliance with ACOTE standards.

Qualifications

• Must be an occupational therapist.
• Must hold a doctoral degree.
• Experience as an academic fieldwork coordinator or fieldwork educator preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple ongoing projects and communicate with community partners, program director and faculty.
• Ensure program compliance with ACOTE standards.
• Collect and interpret data for fieldwork curriculum development.
• Guide students in developing site-specific learning objectives.
• Manage site health and onboarding requirements for fieldwork.
• Schedule and confirm student placements.
• Advise students and fieldwork educators on experiential learning.
• Maintain a faculty scholarship agenda and engage in service.
