Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Rogers, AR is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to collaborate with our staff OT and deliver hands-on care that helps residents regain independence.

You will document progress, educate families, order equipment, mentor aides, and participate in care conferences, contributing to program quality in a compassionate, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, in good standing.
• Comfort with documentation systems (Net Health, PointClickCare a plus).
• CPR certification (if required by your state licensure).
• A steady, compassionate presence—able to connect with residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatment under the guidance of the OT.
• Build real relationships with residents, families, and the care team, and communicate progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and fall prevention.
• Recommend and help order equipment that promotes independence (splints, assistive devices, grab bars, etc).
• Help train Aides and provide in-services to staff; your expertise shapes the team.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and contribute to program development and quality initiatives.

What You Bring

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program
• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, in good standing
