Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with ADL training, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient progress.

Candidate must have OTA licensure, CPR is preferred, and an associate degree from an accredited program is required.

Qualifications

• OTA licensure or certification in Indiana is required.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans and therapeutic exercises under a supervisor.
• Assist with ADL training and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and continued progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Support therapists with observations and care evaluations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
