Job summary

Santa Monica Healthcare Center in California is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA). You will administer treatments, perform assessments, and work within an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ recovery and safety.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, CA OT Assistant license, and have 1 year of clinical experience (new graduates welcome). We offer a sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current California OTA license.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients within scope of practice.
• Conducts tests for muscle strength, ROM, and coordination.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per care plan.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Assists patients with tools and treatments for specific needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Performs home assessments with OT/PT as needed for safe discharge.
