Job summary

Inglewood Healthcare Center is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). We provide a professional and supportive work environment, treating residents and staff as family. The OTA salary range is $85,280 to $104,000 with PRN/on-call duties. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Assists the patient with tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
