Qualifications

• California state license required; OTA credentials must be active.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy is required. One year of clinical experience is preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Tests and measures muscle strength, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Assists patients with tools and treatments for specific needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to support safe discharge with OT/PT as needed.
