Department: BH-Alcohol and Drug Inpatient Treatment - ADI
The Occupational Therapy Assistant collaborates with unit staff and the interdisciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate, and implement group programming to meet patient treatment needs.
The OTA works with the treating physician and treatment team to determine necessary evaluations and provides individual treatment as needed.
Requirements:
Training and Experience: Experience in behavioral health or with specific age populations (geriatrics, pediatrics).
Special Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate, creativity, and flexibility.
Schedule: 20/40 Part-Time Days, every other weekend (7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
Note: Delmonico 3 is an adult addiction/detox unit.
