Job summary

Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc. (HTS) is recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team at a continuing care retirement community in Vincennes, Indiana. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling to cover vacations and other time off.

As a PRN OTA, you will work with patients to deliver rehabilitative services, collaborate with therapists and nursing staff, and help maintain uninterrupted care. Indiana licensure requirements apply, and NBCOT may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana OTA license or eligibility for Indiana licensure.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program.
• Must have completed NBCOT examination and meet state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient OT services on a PRN, as-needed basis.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate coverage during vacations and other absences.

Job description

HTS is now searching for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at a continuing care retirement community located in Vincennes, Indiana. The OTA in this position will treat patients on an as needed, PRN basis. This is a genuine PRN (as-needed) position, meaning that the coverage required will primarily be for vacations and other time off. The nature of this role is designed to provide flexibility and support to our team during periods when regular staff members are unavailable. As such, we are looking for individuals who are adaptable and willing to step in as needed, ensuring that our operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently. This arrangement allows for a dynamic work schedule, where you can choose to accept shifts based on your availability, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking supplementary work or a more flexible employment option.

Requirements

Applicants must have active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
