Job summary

Mountain View Health and Rehabilitation seeks a compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will deliver person-centered care to help residents regain independence and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities include planning and administering treatments under OT supervision, coordinating with the OT, and ensuring plan-of-care adherence. Net Health documentation experience and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or Long-term Care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health electronic documentation system preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered as per the plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.

In this role, you will provide person‑centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long‑term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
