Job summary

Parker Post Acute Care in Parker, CO is a post-acute facility offering long-term care, short-term care and geriatric services. We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program to support recovery and independence for our geriatric residents.

Join our in-house therapy team and perform screenings, develop care plans, and deliver rehabilitative, skilled interventions in line with regulatory and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• OTA license is required.
• Open to COTAs at all experience levels. New grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans per standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments per regulations and clinical practice.
• Stand and walk throughout the facility; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehab plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries of services to ensure regulatory compliance.
