Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Pahokee, FL. This role supports the Occupational Therapy team under supervision and serves residents with compassionate care.

Position types include Full Time, Part Time, or PRN. Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy and active OTA licensure in the state(s) of practice, with ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Mansioni

• Screen residents to determine appropriate intervention or treatment.
• Perform treatment plans following established goals under supervision.

• Schedule resident therapy in cooperation with team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per CMS standards.
• Perform all duties to effectively treat patients as assigned.
• Ensure CMS documentation standards are met daily.

Job Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type:

Full Time, Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose:

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practice
• Perform treatment plan to residents; follow short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapist
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated

Education & Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
