Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (In-house Skilled Nursing Facility)

Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility, ensuring high-quality resident care in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident screenings to determine appropriate interventions based on scope of practice.
• Implement treatment plans, following established goals and methods under supervision.
• Communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and team members.
• Establish therapy schedules in collaboration with team members.
• Perform therapy sessions, document, and bill services properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care.
• Ensure compliance with CMS documentation standards daily.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in applicable state(s).
