Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available

Job Purpose

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in a facility, ensuring high-quality resident care in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct resident screenings to determine appropriate interventions
  • Implement treatment plans, following established goals and methods
  • Communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to residents, families, and team members
  • Establish therapy schedules in collaboration with team members
  • Perform therapy according to the plan and ensure proper documentation and billing
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to effectively treat patients
  • Maintain compliance with CMS documentation standards
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active OTA licensure in applicable state(s)
  • Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
