Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our full-time school-based team in Marana, AZ. You will support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills for classroom success under the supervision of a licensed OT.

Qualified candidates have an OTA degree and active Arizona license; NBCOT is preferred. Experience with pediatric populations and school settings is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and active state license.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Card required.
• Experience with pediatric populations and school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Support development of fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-care, and functional life skills.
• Document therapy sessions, student progress, and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist with implementing classroom accommodations and therapeutic strategies.
• Support use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will play an essential role in helping students achieve greater independence and participate successfully in their educational environment.

Qualifications
