Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant for a full-time, school-based role in Carlsbad, NM. You will collaborate with teachers and families to support students in building essential skills and confidence, helping them gain independence throughout the school day.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited OTA program, hold NM OTA license, and possess NM PED certification. School-based experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in New Mexico.
• New Mexico PED certification.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students in developing daily living and schooling-related skills within the classroom setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to monitor progress and adjust plans.
