Ahava Therapy Services is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson, TN. You will provide OT treatments under supervision and support a collaborative rehab team dedicated to excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
• Active OTA license or eligibility under state statutes for practice.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong observational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the occupational therapist's treatment plans.
• Assist the Occupational Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.
• Observe, record, and report conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties.
• Maintain daily treatment records and document progress notes as directed.
• Assist the therapist in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment.
• Attend and participate in rehabilitation team conferences and other facility meetings.
• Maintain expected productivity levels.
