Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team in Rock Island, IL. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will help deliver individualized care and support patient progress through ongoing treatment plans.

You will assist with all phases of OT treatment, discuss patient treatments, and maintain accurate progress notes while collaborating with the Rehab Director and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients following an individualized plan of care.
• Collaborate with therapists and rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Assist patients through all phases of OT treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record conditions and responses after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
