Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• NBCOT certification for OTA.
• Full, current, unrestricted state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Receive and interpret requests for procedures from the OT.
• Plan and implement OT treatment programs.
• Consult with licensed OT for complex cases.
• Mentor assistants as needed to support requests.
• Explain therapy procedures to Veterans and families; motivate adherence.
