Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist in our growing team. You will support patients by following individualized care plans created by OT staff and contribute to meaningful functional outcomes.

In this role, you’ll assist with OT treatment programs, document patient progress after each visit, and collaborate closely with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure consistent care and proper use of OT

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
