Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team. You will plan and administer OT treatments to residents to improve independence and quality of life under supervision, with a focus on person-centered care.

The role requires an active Texas OTA license and a COTA credential in good standing. SNF experience is preferred, and familiarity with Net Health is a plus. Competitive benefits and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualificações

• Licensed Texas OTA with active license.
• COTA credential required and in good standing.
• SNF or long‑term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current OT treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EDS is preferred.
• Ability to handle patients with varying needs and personalities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT per physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist on request.
• Ensure treatments align with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to interventions and report changes.
• Complete required documentation timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
