Huebner Creek Health is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improved quality of life.

Responsibilities include planning and administering OT treatments, working under the supervision of an OT, documenting thoroughly, and collaborating with families and caregivers. Texas license and COTA credential are required.

Qualifikationen

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies/licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EHR preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the OT.
• Ensure treatments align with the plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes.
• Complete required documentation in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings with the Director of Rehab.
