The Occupational Therapist Assistant role supports the Occupational Therapist, working at Pivot at Solera in West Houston, with options for full-time or part-time hours and a competitive compensation package.

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the occupational therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state occupational therapy rules.

Qualifications: Essential Functions:

• Treats patients as directed by the occupational therapist
• Records treatments given in medical record
