Job summary

Shore Acres Care Center in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide skilled OT services to residents, participate in care planning, and support a high standard of resident outcomes.

The role requires a Florida OTA license, an accredited OTA degree, and familiarity with PDPM/OT scope. Training for Net Health and PointClickCare will be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Accredited OTA program completion.
• Knowledge of PDPM, LTC programming, and OT scope of practice.
• Ability to quickly learn Net Health and PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment programs.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education and training.
