Bay Park Post-Acute and Rehab in Sarasota, FL is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program serving geriatric patients with compassion and teamwork. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, deliver rehabilitative interventions, assist with mobility and wound care, and generate discharge summaries while counseling patients and families.

OTA license is required; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and positioning.
• Administer rehab procedures: manual techniques, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Counsel patients, families, and caregivers on outcomes and progression.
• Produce discharge summaries meeting regulatory requirements.
