Aventura at the Bay in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our compassionate team. You will work with a diverse range of patients, assisting rehabilitation and daily living activities to help them regain independence.

Collaborate with therapists, perform evaluations, maintain documentation, and participate in ongoing training in a SNF setting. This full-time role includes a $3,500 sign-on bonus and a patient-centered, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field.
• 0+ years of experience, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team-driven approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered focus.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, therapies, and interventions
• Assist patients in developing, improving, or maintaining the skills needed for daily living and work activities
• Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments in a SNF setting
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and industry developments
