Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed OTA in the current state of Texas.
• Experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans under the supervision of an OT.
• Assists pediatric and young adult patients in physical, neurological, cognitive and social development.
• Educates and empowers caregivers to carry over activities at home.
• Ensures continuation of therapy by teaching home exercise programs.
• Documents patient care in the electronic medical record system.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and data privacy.
