Pahokee Health & Rehab in Pahokee, FL is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our care team. You will provide therapy services under licensed OT supervision, helping residents improve strength, mobility, and independence while promoting dignity and respect.

The ideal candidate has Florida OTA licensure, graduation from an accredited program, strong communication, compassion, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Florida OTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Excellent communication and patient-facing skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities designed to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and independence.
• Develop positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.
• Work closely with nursing, therapy, and other departments as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Help create a positive and supportive environment for our residents.
