Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation in Aberdeen is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The role pays $35.00-$40.00 per hour and is full-time, with supervision by an Occupational Therapist to deliver therapy services aimed at maximizing independence and quality of life.

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• State licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals
• Assist residents with exercises and activities to improve their strength, mobility, and coordination
• Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and assistive technology to perform daily activities
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Document residents' progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents and their families
