Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Ability to document clearly and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist and adheres to practice standards.
• Uses appropriate therapy procedures and documents data according to patient needs.
• Provides patient and family education, including home exercise programs.
• Supports community education and outreach to raise awareness of occupational therapy services.
• Conducts age-appropriate assessments and interventions and maintains competency.
• Acts as a clinical instructor and mentors students and new staff.
• Maintains policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and infection control.
• Documents progress timely with objective terminology in EMR and other systems.
• Contributes to performance improvement initiatives and educational events.
