Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant I to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. You will participate in therapy sessions for a range of patients and support treatment plans and documentation.

Qualified applicants have OTA program credentials, NBCOT eligibility/registration, CA OTA license or license within 90 days, and CPR certification. No experience required; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant program accredited jointly by the CMA and AOTA (AOTA).
• Registered or eligible for registration as an OTA by NBCOT and the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Current California OTA license, or must receive license within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Assist with therapy sessions for diverse ages and diagnoses.
• Support treatment planning and clinical documentation.
