Job summary

PIH Health seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant I (COTA I) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist and on physician referral. This role is based in our California-network hospitals and clinics, offering diverse patient populations and meaningful clinical exposure.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, ensuring safety with correct body mechanics, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care under OT supervision.
• Able to treat diverse age groups from infants to older adults.
• Basic splinting and body mechanics proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions per plan of care.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress.
• Ensure safety and assist with treatment equipment.
