Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). You will deliver care per established plans, supervise clinical staff, and promote OT services across the organization and community.

Requirements include an OTA associate degree, active Kansas OT license, CPR, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Previous medical or rehabilitation setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Active OTA license in Kansas.
• CPR certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs delivery of care following occupational therapy plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with AOTA standards and Kansas regulations.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
• Reports to the assigned leader of department
