Ventura Services Florida is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to support a 90-bed short-term rehab facility. The role requires maintaining patient progress, assisting recovery, and educating patients and families to improve independence. You will update records and keep the treatment area organized, ensuring high-quality care across treatment rooms and equipment.

The position involves weekend coverage and weekday availability to support patient rehabilitation in a busy facility.

Qualifications

• Current Florida COTA license is required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor a patient’s progress to ensure treatment completion.
• Encourage the patient during their recovery.
• Help patients improve quality of life by finding solutions to their problems.
• Teach patients with disabilities to become more independent.
• Update patient records for the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain the office, treatment room and equipment.
• Teach patients, family members or other caregivers skills and techniques to help with the patients’ treatment program.
