Ventura Services Florida is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to support a 90-bed short-term rehab facility. The role requires maintaining patient progress, assisting recovery, and educating patients and families to improve independence. You will update records and keep the treatment area organized, ensuring high-quality care across treatment rooms and equipment.

The position involves weekend coverage and weekday availability to support patient rehabilitation in a busy facility.

Responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities. The job requires candidates to perform a variety of duties including the following:

• Monitoring a patient’s progress to make sure that they’re successfully completing treatment

• Encouraging the patient during their recovery process

• Helping patients to improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems

• Teaching patients with disabilities to become more independent

• Updating patient records for the Occupational Therapist

• Keeping the office, treatment room and equipment in good order

• Teaching patients, family members or other Caregivers skills and techniques to help with the patients’ treatment program

Job Types: PRN, must commit to working one weekend a month or two weekend days per month, also need weekday coverage

Medical Specialty:
