Job summary

NHC West Plains is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehab team as a PRN clinician. The role focuses on helping patients regain strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery.

You’ll work in a supportive, family-oriented in-house therapy environment with competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth. Missouri license required or eligible; NBCOT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OTA program.
• Certified (or eligible) through NBCOT.
• Active Missouri COTA license.
• Reliable transportation, positive attitude, and team-player mindset.
• SNF experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to regain strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, surgery, or decline.
• Deliver quality care within an in-house therapy team.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
