PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our inpatient team. The OTA will work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans for our diverse patient population, with flexibility to adapt across facilities.

The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning, and holds an OTA license with current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and plan/implement OT treatment programs under OT supervision.
• Be flexible to meet system needs across multiple facilities and perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system. The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
