PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our inpatient rehab team. The OTA will provide direct patient care, help plan and implement treatment programs, and support patient goals under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Flexibility for a variable schedule and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care are essential. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong willingness to learn is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Licensed OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and participate in planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients.
• Follow the principles and practices of occupational therapy within the PAM Health system.
• Be flexible to meet the needs of the system across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system. The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
