All Care Therapies is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting, expanding to the Greater Las Vegas area. We deliver exceptional care for pediatric patients with various disorders and conditions, striving to meet the evolving challenges of therapy providers.

COTA Responsibilities:

• Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic and self-care activities to improve function under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
• Monitor activities to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement.
• Participate in meetings and case conferences for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress weekly in the appropriate records.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the treatment program, under supervision of the OT.
• Demonstrate exercises to improve daily task performance and relieve pain.
• Complete clinical notes promptly using the company's EMR system.
• Verify client information through interviews, medical history review, and recording.
• Follow treatment plans developed with the occupational therapist, teaching techniques for mobility and muscle stretching.
• Monitor activities for correct execution and communicate any issues to the therapist.
• Maintain pediatric occupational therapy records, recording client progress.
• Record billing information for services rendered.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and regulations.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• At least one year of experience as an OTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willingness to participate in continued education.
• Current driver's license and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good time management skills.

Preferred but not required: Pediatric experience.
