Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at New Wilmington is now hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) will provide direct patient care services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT). Responsibilities include documenting patient treatments, condition changes, and other pertinent information.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Occupational Therapist in assessing residents' functional abilities and gathering data for assessments.
2. Implement intervention plans, including ADL training, based on OT guidance.
3. Monitor residents' performance and report changes to the supervising therapist.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, evaluations, treatment plans, and notes using EMRs such as Net Health/PCC.
5. Educate residents, families, and staff on mobility techniques and exercises; conduct remote check-ins via RTM.
6. Collaborate with rehab staff, including PTs and Speech-Language Pathologists, for comprehensive care.

Skills:

1. SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of current treatment practices.
3. Knowledge of Net Health EMR system preferred.

Licensure: Current PA license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in good standing.
