Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) within a skilled nursing facility to assist in restoring patients to optimal physical function and achieving therapy goals. You will educate patients, guide independence, and implement plans under supervision of the OT and DOR.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available, typically days. Wage is negotiable, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing educational opportunities to support your nursing career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college is required.
• Current and valid license granted from the state of employment is required.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from the state of employment is required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate service delivery and EHR software are required.

Responsibilities

• Restore patient to optimal physical function in SNF.
• Instruct patients in activities and exercise post-discharge.
• Collaborate with OT and DOR to achieve patient/physician/therapy goals.

Position Summary

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education / Qualifications

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
