Job Responsibilities:

1. Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
2. Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board standards.
3. Follow physician treatment plans for patient care.
4. Assist nursing staff with training of Restorative Aides.
5. Communicate with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient progress, issues, and plans.
6. Participate in in-service training programs for staff.
7. Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and recertifications as per Occupational Therapy Board regulations and third-party payer requirements.
8. Record treatment modifications according to policies and procedures.
9. Educate patients' families and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training for discharge planning.
10. Assist in cleaning and maintaining the treatment area.
11. Report equipment issues to ensure proper maintenance.
12. Maintain positive, effective, and appropriate interactions with patients, families, staff, and colleagues.

Minimum Requirements:
