Job summary

Heritage Manor Care is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist with quality patient care in a post-acute setting. The OTA will document all services and ensure care follows the OT Plan of Care and facility guidelines under supervision of licensed therapists.

Ideal candidates have OTA education and state licensure or certification as required, with CPR certification and 1 year of OTA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Occupational Therapy Assistant; licensure/certification as required by state.
• CPR certification required.
• Graduates in OTA program will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services established by the OT in the Plan of Care.
• Provides therapy under supervision of an OTR and in compliance with state/federal guidelines.
• Documents services to ensure accurate billing and progress notes.
• Coordinates with rehab team to communicate patient progress.
• Maintains equipment in good working order and a clean environment.
