Job summary

MaineHealth in Maine seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, focusing on mobility, motor, sensory, perceptual, cognitive, social and functional skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current applicable state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or compliant with state act.
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Assesses patient response and modifies treatment within guidelines.
• Focus areas include mobility, motor, sensory, perceptual/cognitive, social, developmental, and functional skills.
