Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to adults and geriatric patients, helping them improve independence, mobility and safety in a collaborative clinical environment.

You will work closely with an occupational therapist and interdisciplinary teams to implement patient-centered treatment plans, support functional outcomes in daily activities, and monitor progress with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety and overall quality of life
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques
• Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs
